10 Month Internship In Internet Marketing

One of my most popular ScentTrails is Internet Marketing Degree Do I Need One. NO, because no classroom is going to come close to the SPEED of production Internet and Social Marketing. Adjusting to the SPEED is half of being an Internet marketer. The other half is honing fact based intuition and yes I know that sounds like an oxymoron.

Marty's Internship Competition
I have 10 months left in my "profit making" career. Here is my offer. I am willing to work with ONE person for as much time as they can spare for the next ten months. Since you can't learn without sufficient commitment let's establish a weekly minimum of 15 hours.

If you win the horse race to be my intern, can comfortably give me 15 hours a week of your time and attention then you will earn a "degree" in Internet marketing.

Why learn Internet Marketing from Me?

Think I am full of BS? Good a healthy skepticism is any Internet marketer's friend, but don't look a gift horse in the mouth either. Team's I've managed made over $30M online. I have a passel of Google #1 listings on great keywords across the 5 blogs and 4 Twitter accounts I mange (not that Twitter ranks in Google anymore, but it sure helps)

This is FREE internship, but if you can't take the information you will know 10 months from now and make six figures then think about another profession. That sounded harsher than I meant it, but most people who spend a little time with me MAKE MORE MONEY.

I good give a HOOT about money, but it is an effective report card. Money is the truth. Sure the web has other important currencies such as attention, advocacy and UGC (User Generated Content), but we haven't been able to create a DIRECT relationship between those things and paying the rent.

What Will You Learn?
You will learn content marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, Google Analytics, web metrics, how to create and follow Key Performance Indicators, how to create VIRAL content, how to use social media in a profitable way, how to create and support your personal brand, how to create great email marketing, how to develop cause marketing, how to create video marketing from script to video, and about 100 other things that all end with "ing".

What Will You Be Asked To Do?
I don't believe in making anyone get coffee ever (I don't drink coffee). From the first moment you begin to work with me I will throw you into the deep end of the pool. I will ask you to help create CureCancerStarter.org, our cancer research crowdfunding platform. I will ask you to write, write and write some more.

I will be HARD on your writing as we mold it into SEO Writing (eliminate "stop words" and focus on keys). I only know how to edit one way - brutally. When I get edited it is as brutal (believe me). First lesson, and this one is free, don't attach EGO to Internet marketing.

Let's say that more realistically, don't attach so much EGO to your Internet marketing you can't see TRUTH and what to do about it. Second freebie IM lesson is never be so full of your own beans you aren't LISTENING and CORRECTING since to be so arrogant is to leave MILLIONS on the table.

The best way to LEARN Internet marketing is to DO Internet marketing, so that it what we will do together for 10 months. If, after those 10 months, you can't make a million bucks doing whatever the hell you want I will gladly refund your money :).

Bad joke, there is NO COST associated with your Marty Internet marketing degree nor is there any PAY other than the cash you will earn eventually. AND that is your last free Internet marketing lesson. If you are unwilling to share, give YOU away FREE and willingly then you are in the wrong business. Internet marketing after social media is about THE SHARE.
